Vince has worked in the family owned business since he commenced his electrical apprenticeship in 1977, and gained industrial experience working wth Ralph Lee Constructions in Papua New Guinea for a short time in 1985. He holds an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and has vast experience in Industrial Maintenance, electrical Drafting, Switchboard Design and Construction, Water & Waste Water Pump Station Mechanical / Electrical Works and Industrial Electrical Installations.
On taking over ownership of the company in 2000, he remains greatly involved in the day to day running of the business. Vince sits on the board of the Master Electricians Australia and is committed to the prosperity of the Electrical Contracting Industry in Queensland.
Shayne commenced his apprenticeship with Whelan Electrical Services in June 1991.
On completion of his Apprenticeship in 1995, he completed a CAD Drafting Course and Supervisors Safework College of Worksplace Health and Safety.
Shayne’s duties include Electrical/Mechanical Drafting, Switchboard Design and Construction, Water and Waste Water Pump Station Mechanical and Electrical Works and Tender preparation.
Graham began work as electrical apprentice for the then New Zealand Post Office where he gained his initial experience in domestic wiring through to telecommunications DC power supply systems.
He then moved to Brisbane for 2 years where he worked as a business equipment technician, however returned to NZ and worked in industry for the next 27yrs, primarily the meat, tanning and tobacco industries. It was within these industries where he gained his wide experience with PLC’s, SCADA, instrumentation and automation.
Graham commenced employment with Whelan Electrical Services in August, 2008 and is the Head Electrician for installation works at Whelans.
