Whelan Electrical Services has just commissioned
their fourth boat navigation lock and water quality salinity pump.
The Newport Boat Lock is now complete. Supply and installation of all five
gearboxes and actuators, switchboard, access control system and laptop control,
pedestrian lights, obstruction detection switches and state of the art laser
scanner to monitor pedestrian traffic prior to raising bridge, live video
cameras, switchboard alarm system and PLC and HMI with remote communication.
